Just heard that Michigan can expect the coldest winter we've seen in the last 50 years! Of course that means more snow too.

We had over 30 in. last year and part of that time, I was by myself. Hubby had gone to CO. to help youngest son move! That was scary! Lights went off one time while I was upstairs sewing and I had no flashlight with me. I turned off everything that I could remember was on and carefully felt my way downstairs all the while hoping it would come back on quickly but worried that it would be out for days!

break open the seed you will see a fork a spoon or a knife. the spoon predicts heavy snow, the knife lots of cold cutting winds, the fork predicts mild winter.

Heard on the news the other night that Chicago is suppose to get one of the worst winters on record. Since I'm northwest of Chicago in Wisconsin.......... ugh!

no catepillars but TONS of moths...and NO nuts for the squirrels to gather..they are digging up last years stash out of the yard...we also had NO fruit...

they are predicting a colder/harsher winter than last year here and it was forever COLD and miserable here last year!

Oklahoma is supposed to be dry! That is not good considering the horrible drought we are in. Desperately need rain and lots of it.
