Sure - why not? When we first moved here years ago, we just happened to stop by a grocery store (on a Friday) and I couldn't figure out why most everything (especially staples) was gone. The check out man said "Lady, I can tell that you aren't from around here - we're going to have a snow storm) - it was flurries, by the way. However, they have a lot of hills and curves and not much in the way of guard rails.

I always get a giggle when I watch the weather channel and they talk about the southern snow storms.

Have you ever been caught in a "white-out". Now THOSE are scary. We've been caught in those in Ohio, Indiana and Illinois - the 3 northern states we have lived in.

Oh yeah those are not fun, especially on the expressway! Got caught in one that came out of nowhere when I was going about 50 mph.

For a minute you had me scared until I noticed you're in Alaska. Way too early for storm advisory notices up here but we did have some snow flurries last week.

I'm in Florida and it has finally cooled off. Today it is in the mid 60's and in the low 50's at night. It is so nice to have the windows open and let the fresh air in. I love snow, grew up in Illinois and really do miss the change of seasons. Yes please send pictures of the snow. Would love to see it. Even if it is a picture.

and I arrived in the Bahamas last night, looking for some warm weather... we are sitting here with long pants and sweatshirts, I can do that back in Vermont along with a quilt to bind and snuggle with.
