that's not supposed to happen is it?

Beautiful day in Chicagoland. Not sunny, but warm enough to have the windows open and the song birds provide a beautiful chorus.

WOW! That's more snow than we have and it's not unusual where I live!!! What part of Arizona are you? I have friends in Yuma. I also have a neighbor (friend, too!! :)) that's in the Apache Junction area. She just sent me an e-mail and said she didn't want to come back to our snow yet....I'd die laughing if she had snow this morning!!!!

About half way between Phoenix and Las Vegas, Nv. Our elevation is 3200 feet so we are typically are about 10 degrees cooler than Phoenix or the low deserts but we don't get much snow. This year it seems we have gotten way more than typical. Apache Junction probably only got rain and chilly temperatures.

We got caught in a snowstorm on April Fool's Day in Sedona several years ago. It was bad enough that the main highway was closing. Luckily we were one exit ahead of the closings as we traveled with the radio on. My son was stationed in Yuma and had to get back so we didn't want to be snowed in.

Here in Northeast Arkansas the sun is shining and it's already 80 degrees. I helped pick up trash and limbs out of the yard so hubby can mow. I had to come back in house and turn on air conditioner. I'm such a baby!

Shhh, don't tell the weather fairy but here in Ohio we don't have snow anymore. Getting a lot of rain though, very dreary.

Wow, that is alot of snow for your area....However, the weather has been different this year. Our snow is finally melting and we just got warning from the "911" tower that we are under tornado watch until 1:00am...starting off spring a little to early.

Chloride is about 40 miles to drive, but it's probably only about 15 miles as the crow flies. I am on the east side of the Cerbat Mountains and Cloride is on the west side.
