When I lived there, we could get Blue Bell in southern Oklahoma, but it may only be a regional area where it is available, and not nationally.

I live in AR and Blue Bell is sold in all the grocery stores in my area. It's good ice cream but not as creamy or rich tasting as Talenti. The Dutch Chocolate is our favorite of Blue Bell.

I've been researching as best I can about the maker of Sam's Choice ice cream. So far it Sam's Choice seems to have more caramel added then Talenti! I guess to save on the cream? Anyway it's delicious.

Blue Bell is expanding. We now have in Nevada. It is carried by Walgreens and several different supermarkets here in LV. It is very good. About equal to the gelato store we like to go to.

If you live in WA/OR, you have to try Tillamook Ice Cream ... yummy! Believe it or not, Schwanns Vanilla Bean is the closest to homemade I've ever had .... it is absolutely delicious (and I usually only prefer homemade Vanilla Bean - could never find a store-bought Vanilla Bean ice cream that came even close). Will have to keep an eye out for Talenti.

I never did like Breyer's ice cream, but if you live near a Publix, their ice cream is delicious! I especially love their chocolate marshmallow ice cream - yum!!

Okay, now I want ice cream . . .

Isn't it wonderful when you find that the house brand is as good as the name brand? I found that the Walmart Fritos taste just as good, and they cost less.

Sam's Choice - is that just sold at Sam's Club or something?

I love gelato. I ate it every day I was in Italy! We have frozen custard around here and it's awesome.

Sam's Club and Walmart are the same company. I always buy the Sam's Choice products, much better quality then the Equal Value brand.
