...when the apples hit the oven! I'm stuck home from church with a headache so I decided to slam some pills and get to baking. I made some Caramel Apple Crisp and some Apple Crisp and seasoned my cast iron apple dumpling pan so that's next on the agenda! Yum!

Caramel Apple Crisp in the back and Apple Crisp in the front.

A close-up of the hot and bubbly crisp fresh from the oven! Yum!

Oh where do you live, those look so good!!!!!!! 'Today was a beautiful day here in upstate. Only I have been sick with a horrible cold or the flu all week. Finally feeling alittle better today and seeing your apple crisp is making me crave some. Too bad dh can't seem to follow a recipe...I suspect he does that so he won't ever be expected to fix that recipe again.

Oh good gosh--that looks so GOOD. If that is the result of a headache--then heavens to calories if you did not have a headache.

YUMMY: I live in NNY and have picked so many apples I am
tired of it. But those pictures of your carmel apple crisp sure
    is inviting.
I found a sight for slow cooker apple recipes and put apples in
my slow cooker to bake. Wow are those nice..
We'll be picking more apple today and have spent a Sunday
picking concord and wild grapes. Now that will make you pucker up.
