    You know you're a quilter....

Finish this sentence. You know you're a quilter when......

you spend more time pulling thread out of your vacuum than you do actually vacuuming.

You know you're a quilter when...

You find yourself looking at a pattern in the bathroom floor and thinking, "Oh, that would make a pretty quilt block. Let's see, I can make that out of half-square triangles and if I set it on point I will have large pieces of negative space to quilt in and then I can..."
    Sheila N.

When Thomas Edison invented the light bulb, he tried over 2000 experiments before he got it to work. A young reporter asked him how it felt to fail so many times. He said, "I never failed once. I invented the light bulb. It just happened to be a 2000 step process."

You know you are a quilter when

-- you freeze the TV picture so you can sketch out the pattern in the bathroom tile because the pattern would make a great quilt.

When you have quilted items in the kitchen (hot pads and pot holders), dining room (tabel topper), living room (quilt on the couch and wall hanging)and bedrooms (quilt) and you can't stop thinking about adding more.

. . . when you can't stand to buy "just enough" fabric, for a non-quilting project . . . because you "need" more scraps.

When your DIL shows you her new Christmas gift of a beautiful night gown with beautiful roses on it, and in your mind you think (Wow that would make an awesome quilt).

When EVERYONE you know is a quilt. When I talk to people I'm always thinking (that pattern will be great with this color for what every reason). I do this with my sewing too. I should have married a Pfaff (I wonder if any are looking for a new wife???? I could be the sewing machine tester!!!)
