Are you watching the Super Bowl today?

We are in the family room and have it on now. Hubby is watching it and I am some but playing on the computer.

Anyone sewing or quilting today? If so what are you working on?

Did you make some good snacks for Super Bowl Sunday?

We all love to eat! Be sure to share your recipes with us on the recipe section of the board.

Hubby and I mostly watch it for the commercials. We've seen a few cute ones so far. I'm going to do a little quilt planning and playing on the computer in between funnies today. I didn't plan any special food today, maybe next year...

I'm organizing my huge stash (it was a mess) and cutting the smaller pieces into 5" squares for scrappy quilts. It's a big project, hope to finish sometime next week.

The game is on. I have my laptop and sitting here on the QB only watching TV during the comercials. I always like to see if they're any good or how stupid they can be.

Hubby is watching, he usually doesn't watch any sports. He is probably watching so he can talk to his customers about it. I'm on here, sewed some 5" strips together and cut them into 5" strips, going to make up my own scrappy pattern for them, not sure just what I'm going to do with them, or how I will arrange them. I may even have enough for more than 1 quilt.

sewing! Dh is not a sports fanatic....he likes it and will go flip channels every so often to see the score but never jsut sits and watches it.He's sitting here beside me doing taxes. 9yo ds on the other hand is in the den yelling his head off....he's pulling for the Steelers and 6yo ds is pulling for the Packers (unless he changed his mind again! lol). I am working on the string blocks for the Bonnie Hunter Roll, Roll, Cotton Boll quilt. I have made 7 this afternoon. Oh and I've been back and forth between the QB and the machine so I'm slow!

As far as I'm concerned, you can never go wrong with a Vikings jersey!

Superbowl? Superbowl? Was that today? Hmm, not sport fans here. Been quilting all day today. I only have to stitch the binding on my toddler quilt, But didn't want to sit still for that so I cut out all the pieces for the St. Pattys table runner exchange. Which I would like to piece, but I have a TEENAGER HOGGING the machine right now!!!!!
