Do you have a fav cookie recipe you make for the holidays? Mine aren't much to do with the holiday, but are ones the family loves.Fruitcake cookies, date nut pinwheels,Double chocolate chunk & oatmeal/raisin.What's your's?
There's just 2 of us here, so have cut way back on candy making. This yr will just be peanut brittle, fudge & choc dipped crackers.

Caramels. I make multiple batches of this every year. I know it isn't cookies but that's everyone's favorite here.

Russian Tea Cakes, some call them Mexican Wedding cakes but they melt in your mouth! I do those, Ritz crackers sandwiched with peanut butter dipped in chocolate bark. Oatmeal w/raisin cookies and of course old fashioned homemade cooked fudge! But the favorite are the Tea Cakes.

Fudge tops the list here, along with m & m cookies. I love the orange slice cookie myself but I am the only one. So I have to eat them all LOL

Spice cookies are hands down my favorite. The dough is even wonderful before it's baked!

Our family favorite is Caramel Sandtarts. These cookies are hard to roll out. I cheat! I have a kitchen aid mixer with a pasta roller attachment..and it works great. I make peanut butter fudge that they all love. Wish I had the knack to make chocolate fudge...yummy.
My personal favorite is Linzer tarts and date nut pinwheels. My 2 year old granddaughter Chloe is coming this week to spend the night. We are going to start our first Nana/granddaughter tradition and make chocolate chip cookies. I will run the mixer and let her add the ingredients. I can hardly wait..Nana in a candy store!
Peace and Blessings,
