Youtube and Smart TV
#4
After years of owning a smart TV I learned on this quilt board that I had several things we could watch for free. TV remote had buttons on it but, I thought we would have to pay to use them. I tried it not too long ago and found they are free. My Husband is the watcher and is happy with whatever he finds on TV.

I watch YouTube on my iPad and I have a button to push that will send the video to my tv. Honestly I haven’t checked to see if I can do,directly,to YouTube - think I’ll check it out, But it sure is nice to see the videos I want on the big screen.

YouTube videos are nice on the tv. I don’t have a smart tv but can still watch. I have a Firestick on my downstairs tv and can put on my headphones and listen as I sew or work around my sewing area. The headphones make it easier to hear.
I haven’t tried to project my IPad on my tv though.

I wouldn't say the last. I consider myself to be electronically challenged, as I struggle very much with technology. I had my smart TV for a while prior to realizing I could watch Youtube on it, and thanks to my son, now it's primarily what I watch, or HGTV. Thank God I have two kiddos in their 20's that can help DH and I with our electronics.

Only having one "smart" TV in our house, you aren't not the only one who doesn't know these things. I mostly watch the TV in my sewing room which isn't a "smart" TV and I mostly watch things I've DVR'd so I don't go and investigate other stuff. I watch Youtube on my laptop.
