Default Accuquilt Mats

Hi everyone! I'm new on here. I have an Accuquilt go that I love. I am having trouble getting the 10x10 mat; everyone place has them on backorder. Is there anything else I can use?

The mat needs to cover the die if you are cutting all the shapes. You can use a smaller mat over a shape to cut just that specific shape.

I order directly from the AQ site and usually receive the order in 2-4 days. They are in stock today.I like to purchase extra mats during sales to have an exra mat ready.

Do you have a LQS that sells AQ? does a friend have the system too? Our local group often share dies for projects. Good luck!

PS: Welcome to the boards!

I buy from Quilt in a Day site and Amazon. Free delivery on both.

I checked and QiAD has the mats with free shipping.

Welcome to the QB from SE Michigan! Like you I love my Accuquilt system. As already mentioned a smaller mat can be used for single cuts on a die. I usually buy from QIAD because of the free shipping. Their sales usually coincide with what the Accuquilt site is running. Again welcome to the QB.

I love mine too. I have used it a lot and have actually worn some mats out. I'm worried about all my quilter friends. How much snow (four letter word now) do you have? Sitting here with about eleven inches. Lots of piles, no place to put it.

Had a nephew who decided to visit a college friend in Austin, TX. Supposed to be there for 3 days. Was there 10. Couldn't get a flight. They are home now. Wife looks stressed.

Piles of snow around here in Illinois but roads are quickly cleared. My family in Texas has had it pretty rough with power outages, water problems, etc. It seems to be over the worst now.

I buy from Quilt in a Day or Amazon...fast delivery! free shipping!

not an ideal solution...but when a mat wears out. You could just keep the good parts and use them for smaller cuts. I don't know what mat is however, big enough to sub for a 10 inch one. Oh...actually if you have one for the big strip cutters that would work I think...just be careful if you use the whole thing cuz you will have a bit of it hanging over the die.
