Hi Nyla, welcome from New York. If you go to the top and click on "search" you can put in applique and finds tutorials for it. I do applique and I go around the edge with a small zig-zag or blanket stitch. When I quilt it I go around each applique - right next to the outline edge and quilt some of the detail within the applique. Can we see some of your work?

I am having computer pic issues, but I will try. I am working on a wall hanging with a fish, by grizzlygulchgallery.com. Have made one, and just wanting to improve my technique. Have been sewing for years, just got a new babylock crafters choice machine, and am hooked on sewing all over again. I have done flannel memory quilts, and stuff for myself. Always willing to learn new things.
