Hi and welcome from Idaho...have visited Alaska a couple of times and it was great!! Wish we could visit again, but doubt if it will happen. Know you will enjoy this board and the people here....so helpful and friendly!

Nice to see all the Alaska quilters on here. I am really enjoying the posts & pics. Probably spending time on the Board when I should be sewing! You are all great resource.

Nice to meet you! I'm from Texas. When I graduated nursing school about a million years ago I gave myself the gift of a trip. Went to Alaska. Saw the Pribiloffs, Ketchican, and Juneau. Can't wait to come again. That is some of the most beautiful land I have ever seen, and some of the absolutely loveliest people. You are so fortunate to live there. I loved it so much, I actually tried to get a job there, but it was in the middle of the oil bust and nobody was hiring. I would love to see your quilts. you have such fabulous inspiration living up there! Do share!! Virg
