Aloha,
I am new to this forum and am a Family and Consumer Science (Home Ec) teacher. One of the classes I teach is clothing and textiles. I teach very basic sewing. I have only sewn one quilt and am working on two more. I do know how to sew clothing, but don't sew much clothing. I recently brought home bags of scraps from school...our scrap bin was overflowing and we were unable to put the lid on it...so...I am looking for ways to use up the scraps. I love learning how to do new things and am always looking for new, creative ideas.

Hey Susette, where's my flower necklace thingy? I think they're called leis? Don't you usually get one when someone says 'aloha'? LOL

Welcome and Hafa Adai from Guam!

Where in Hawaii are you?
We moved from there last year after spending WAY too much time there. Both my girls went to school there with one graduating from HI.

K3N....I'll send you a lei...I have tons of them, but sorry, can't send you the REAL flower ones. If you want to make one of your own, come on over, I still have my lei needle and we can string plumerias!

Welcome Susette, I am SURE you will be getting TONS of ideas for all those scraps (and maybe somoene will be begging for you to send them some  )

I went to Hawaii once, didn't see as much I would have liked as it was only for three days, but loved it all the same!
