Welcome and congrats for winning a ribbon at the State Fair. I got my first one back in 1973 for Crewel work and then I went on to pickles, jellies and jams. My favorite was black raspberry (which we grow) jelly with a lemon verbena stem in the jar. It is a lot of fun isn't it?

Haven't been to the fair in years. Our favorite place to go was the Union area where they had drawings every hour on the hour and we tried so hard to get one of those benches with the carpeting on the top and the top had a carpet insert of the State of Minnesota. Never won one! (I hope you know what I am talking about!!!!!!)

I don't even know if there will be a fair this year, eh?

Again, welcome to this happy group! Edie

Welcome from another Minnesotan, SW about 30 miles from Minneapolis. Good job on the log cabin. That's my favorite pattern.
