Welcome for the Tri-Cities. You and your family will have lots of fun on this site. It brought me into buying up quite a few vintage machines. I love their history.

Another welcome from Michigan.... and another vintage machine lover. You've come to the right place.

Thank you everyone for the warm welcome. I've been tinkering with the machine-nothing major, I just learned how to thread it and gave it a quick oiling. I also bought some bobbins for it. I did a few test seams this morning and it actually works! There's still some fine tuning to be done though. The seams aren't perfect and it doesn't feed well on the shorter stiches for some reason. Given that it has sat for over 20 years since I've owned it and I don't know how long before that, I'm very happy with the results so far. I'll be picking up some sewing machine grease and some new needles for it today. I'll also post some pictures in the vintage section in the next day or two.
