    auction sites

Hi, this is my first post although I'm a long-term reader. I follow shopgoodwill.com and have noticed how expensive bids and shipping have become. I've looked a long time for an affordable featherweight but sales have in increased to around $300 for a nice one. does anyone know of other sites?

Wish I could help you but I think that's the going price unless you just find a deal

I agree, $300.00-ish seems to be the going price regardless of venue.
Postage took a big jump this year. And it takes about an hour to wrap and double box a machine so it ships safely.

The girls are right. $300 to $400 seems to be the going price. Honestly, I saw one sell on E-Bay 2 years ago around Valentines day for $1,200.00. I could not believe it. It was a 1966. Unbelieveable.

Welcome from Southern California! Keep an eye out at your local thrift stores and Craigslist. Check out estate sales keep your eyes open for those little black cases. It will happen if you just keep looking.
