Welcome back from the gulf! been sending prayers from the gulf to all across the nation devastated by natural and man-made disasters! but getting on the board on a daily basis and throughout the day is nice! Kind of like what's been happening in the last few minutes!

Yikes! I have been seeing the pics of the devastating flooding going on in Colorado..meanwhile my area of Texas is in a drought...sending prayers your way on that as well as the rough times you've had... I know quilting has been a lifesaver for me!

The flooding is receding but it will be months if not years before everything can be fixed. We have been in a bad drought for the past few years and now this. I hope the drought is broken for us and that the other drought areas will have some relief. Thanks for all of the good thoughts and prayers.

Welcome back from Australia. We have fires and floods on a regular basis out here.
I hope you haven't lost fabrics from your stash as well. If you were closer I'd love to share some of mine. I haven't been able to sew for ages. My inflammatory arthritises and my husbands poor health plus moving to Melbourne have kept me away from the sewing room. Hopefully after next weeks breast biopsy and I get the results I will feel able to start sewing again.hang in there: you aren't alone.
