I have one of these Batting Buddies and we in our group have done several projects with them.

1. 26 of use used my template and cut things out to exchange. Our idea was thus: each of us drew a letter from the alphbet. Say, I drew the the letter "C" - It was then my responsibility to look in my stash or shop for fabric that I could buy that would represent the letter "c". I might choose a "candy" fabric print. I would then cut 26 to exchange. And so on and so on. We then exchanged and all of use had a wonderful alphabet quilt made with these templates.

2. The second project we did was when one of our group had been in a very, very serious car accident and it was thought that she had so much brain damage that she would never be able to quilt again. She loves Halloween cute stuff, but we decided each person would make her a block with this template and thus we did not have to wait to send this quilt top out to be quilted in a quick turn around.

I love this template for quick charity work.

Hope you enjoy it too.

just jan

I have the batting buddy, but have only played around with it. If you go to the website, they have an assortment of patterns to buy for it, but it would get very pricey. I think most can be figured out from the pictures. I hope to make a full quilt from this soon.
