Thanks for the welcome! We are a "normal" quilt guilld. The only bonus is we happen to live in an area known for pit cooked BBQ. We have a BBQ Festival every fall the week before Halloween. The streets are closed to traffic, and we have vendors from all over the South. And in recent past years, we have been blessed to have a lot of well known talent to perform i.e. Tricia Yearwood, Oak Ridge Boys. But, as you know, our love is sitting down with a group of friends and stitchin'.!!!!!

Look on the web for BBQ Festival, Lexington, NC and see all the pictures of the pigs we have in memorial all over town. Most of the year you might see one every block . . . looking like a policeman, a mailman, dressed as a quilt, some military guy . . .
Our local vineyard creates a wine especially for this day every year. It is a limited edition and only available on that day! You know Richard Childress, right, with NASCAR fame . . . well he owns a wine establishment, and vineyard here in town. We really know how to do it up right, LOL< LOL

I'd join a guild with BBQ in the title. I'd bring my own mustard sauce, too. Welcome to the board. :0)

Well . . . we are quite proud! I dare say we don't share the name with any other guild.
