Thanks, Crafty Bear.
I grew up in northern Indiana graduating from Lapel High School which is as far south as I ever lived in Indiana.

I love your quilt blocks. I am sure the book will be great too. I have completed a couple of I Spy quilts and am planning a Bible I spy quilt. I am making lists of stories I want to depict and planning the blocks but have not yet stared to execute them. The blocks in my other I Spy quilts are very small. Applique would be difficult if I do the blocks that small. I am trying to decide if I want to do embroider, applique, photo art or something else. I don't know yet how I will end up doing it. I like the honeycomb effect I saw on your website. I may have to consider hexagons.

Rahaube, I'm not familiar with the "I spy" quilt format. There are many ways you could do a Bible quilt. I plan to offer a digital coloring and pattern book to complement my Bible storybooks. I tried tracing and coloring pictures with crayon to make quilt blocks with my grandchildren. I still don't have the final quilting completed, but the quilt blocks were successful.
