Default coming out of lurkdom

G'day everyone , (that should give you a clue where I am from , LOL )
I have been lurking here for quite sometime , and thought I had better poke my head up and say hello.

I love to make scrappy quilts ( that way I do not have to think too much about matching things ) ,and most of them are given away to foster care agencies for children who have been placed with no possesions.

but....if if I do a workshop.. I will chose a color story out of my comfort zone, which has given me a huge variety of colored quilts
My friends will often comment 'that does not go with your house' ... does not matter.. makes me happy.

I am self confessed a fabric hoarder, and have more than I will use in another 3 lifetimes.... but.. again..
makes me happy .. and way cheaper than psychiatrist fees !!
cheers from Aus

RS

A warm welcome from North Central Washington, USA! I think it is great you give many of your quilts away to foster care agencies.

Welcome!! I say, you have been lurking a while -- almost two years!! Glad you decided to start talking!!

I think you will find a lot of folks here who relate to your fabric stash.
