    Talking Another confetti quilt

    Morning fellow quilters!!

Here's my newest Confetti or Painting with Fabric as I now call it. It is almost finished and ready for the quilting part. I think it needs a few more trees off in the distance.
How long do these take? You probably won't believe me when I say you can make one in a weekend with plenty of time for napping, cooking a meal or two and having coffee with a neighbor! Truly! It is very fast. The part that takes the most time is the chopping up of the fabric. I will post another picture of finished product.
    Enjoy!

Thanksgiving has interrupted myquilting schedule! I am in Arizona at the moment but I did bring my quilting projects for theodd moments when the grandkids leave me in peace. Or should I say "When I give them a moments peace!" I am finishing my coffee and heading to my camp table to work on my confetti piece. I should be able to get the finishing touches done and the quilting too. Of course, my brain is already thinking about what picture to do next. Hmmmm~

Welcome Jand635 to our board, glad to have you aboard. The picture is wonderful and to think it is made with such very small bits of fabric.
This may be something I would like to try. BTW, I am Pat from the state of Illinois. hope you have as much fun on here as I do and there is so much to learn and try.

OK, now this falls in the "really neat thing that I want to try" category. Your work is beautiful!!!! Hey Jan, or anybody else, has the way this is done been posted anywhere yet? I haven't had time to read through all the posts on this thread to catch up with everything that has happened. (Wish I didn't have to do my day job!) I love doing art quilts, but all the techniques I have been doing take forever to complete one quilt. I would love to learn how to do something in a weekend! Thanks for starting this thread! Jean, PS, really want to learn this technique!!!!!!!
