Hi luv2quilt,
Now that Wal Mart stopped carrying fabric...I shop at the Happy Heart Quilt Shop on 7913 3rd Street Rd. Louisville. It is a little shop but they are sooooooo nice and helpful. They have a lady who does long arm quilting. You can google the address get get directions. Otherwise, I shop at Hobby Lobby, Hancock's, and JoAnns but they are not convenient to you. I wish I knew of more shops. Hope this is helpful.

Where is there a Hobby Lobby. I have been to the Joanne Fabrics in St. Matthews. I have been to Happy Heart several times and loved them. One of the things when we bought this house in 2007 that I should have checked on was there a quilt shop nearby LOL. Right now I order any fabric or other supplies I need online. I have a Longarm.

There is a Hobby Lobby next to the Jefferson Mall on the Outer Loop. It isn't part of the mall but is west of the mall, behind the Factory Card Outlet which is on the Outer Loop.
I am off to Happy Heart Saturday to drop off two quilts. It is addictive isn't it.

Love Happy Heart just wish it was closer LOL.

Going to a AQS quilt show in Knoxville, Tennessee with hubby so should be able to come home with lots of goodies.

Been trying to get to Paducah quilt show since we moved here in 2007 but unable to get a room. My friend tried to get a room for 2011 and most of the rooms were gone already. So I am thinking they must be booking them a year in advance or as soon as the current show is over.

Try getting a room a tiny bit away from the site...if you really want to go. My hubby supports me but a quilt trip, I don't think so.
