Welcome from Ontario, Canada. You can machine quilt if you baste the layers together in a quilt sandwich first. There are many ways to baste, pins, 505 spray, thread, elmer’s Washable glue etc. Try a little sample sandwich first to practice.

Welcome aboard and good luck! I tied my quilts for many years before switching to quilting them down on my sewing machine.

Hi and welcome from North Carolina! I went the opposite way! Started off many, many, many years ago with machine quilting. Now that I'm really old, I started to tie them. It's easier than fighting them under the machine's needle. You'll do fine. If you have questions, all the answers can be found on this board. Enjoy!
