Nice to meet you. I am also from Maryland. Born in Baltimore, lived in Catonsville until after high school. After years of moving, I now live in Queenstown, on the eastern shore. I still have family in Baltimore. Go right up I83 to you right?

Where in MD are you from?

Quilting feeds my soul. I am so glad you are producing. What a satisfaction.

I am hoping I can be like your mom and provide for myself with my sewing machine. I can't do my old job anymore.

Welcome from Southeastern PA. I live near where the Blue Route and the Schuylkill Expressway meet. I'm new on this board as well. :-)

I've been up there and seen the blue route, red route signs.
Have you been to the AQS Lancaster show? I didn't go yet.

Hi Creative Sheila,

The Blue Route I was referring to actually is the connector road I-476 between the Schuylkill Expressway (I-76) and I-95. Construction on it was stalled for decades during which time it showed up on local maps with a blue line, hence its unofficial name in these parts. I believe the formal Blue and Red routes are evacuation routes in case of disaster or something like that.
