I have been quilting for a short time. At this time I am trying to make a flanged pillow cover.. they have many on utube, but most don't bother to give measurements of fabric which really makes it difficult. Does anybody have measurements for a Queen Flanged Pillow cover.

well, I have flanged pillow shams, and the heigth of the flange is about 2 1/2 to 3 inches. There doesn't seem to be anything hard about the pillow measurments, just measure around your cover size.

I make them for my throw pillows. i just add 4-6 inches to my pillow measurement and dew along the inside however the amount is (if I want a 2 inch flange, I add four inches all around and just stitch inside the outer seam 2 inches all the way around, once the cover is turned rightside out). There is probably a more professional way to do it, but that is mine.
