Default From Fort Worth, TX

I Everyone I’m from Fort Worth, TX, I read a message on how to paint Starch and water on backing and spray on top. I wanted to post a reply then directed to register. After finishing that I was not able to get back to the message. My original search was for puckering on my backing while stitching using my walking foot. If anyone could help! Thank you in advance!

Welcome from Ontario, Canada. If you remember the title of the thread, you can put it in the QB search box. Getting puckers in your backing when quilting are from the backing moving as you quilt. You can heavily starch your backing and the stiffness can help with puckers. You can also make sure the quilt sandwich is well secured or basted a number of ways. There is 505 basting spray, thread basting, safety pin basting, Elmer's washable glue basting and Hobbs fusible quilt batt. A well secured sandwich will shift less when you quilt.

Welcome, Lori, from S. California....if you haven't done so already, you can post your question on "Main" thread and I know someone (likely lots of someone's) will have suggestions and/or answers for you...but Tarton answered with great suggestions and advice...
