    Georgia girl

New to quilting. Starting with rag quilt. Making from some squares made from my grandson’s Navy clothes. We lost him a few months ago from a drug overdose. So sad

Welcome from South Louisiana. It's so sad when we lose someone to addiction. It's good that you could make a memory quilt of his clothing. Prayers for you and the family.

Welcome to QB where you'll find tons of inspiration, advice and kinship among this great group of very talented and giving quilters. I'm rather new myself but am happy to help any way that I can!

I'm so very sorry for your loss. I send heartfelt prayers from our Navy family to yours and understand, first hand, the challenges faced by those who have served.

    Glad you found us!

Welcome to you, and so sorry for your loss. Having a quilt made of his clothes will be a wonderful reminder of him for the rest of your life.
A quilt is like a good life. It's full of mistakes, but, in the end, it looks pretty good.
