Good Day from Australia
Hi, I am new to quilting and having some time off work has inspired me to have a go! I found The Curious Quilter this year, and was inspired by her charm swap - so I have been taken up with 2" fabric ever since. It was so exciting to get all the charms. I made a quillow a few years ago and loved it. I sorted my mother's house after her passing, & when I got to the the fabrics I was quite emotional (all those scraps from my dresses when I was growing up were there!) My mother was quite a cotton fan, so I inherited lots of really good quality cotton fabric! So I need to make a memory quilt at some time. I also enjoy candlewicking but am yet to complete a project so I have ufo's. I enjoy the journey of whatever craft I am doing.
My friend, djmat, suggested that I come over here to meet all you lovely people so here I am.

We are going to have so much fun here. The folks here are sweet & so smart, they will help us learn faster & keep us from wasting fabric!
Hey, June 5th is the last day to sign up for a 2.5" charm swap here on QB. I've signed up for 30 sets now I need to get cutting. If you are interested go to the Member Swap Thread & look for June 2.5 swap. Off to find my rotary cutter. Hugs to you & yours!

Thanks for the lovely welcome djmat. Sounds like we will have lots of fun. Look at you - up for 30 sets of 2.5" charms. You will have heaps of charms - will be able to make some lovely quilts. Hugs
