I LOVE to quilt and today I get to try and teach a friend. Searching for something simple so she does not get frustrated. Starting from the very beginning, loading the machine, rotary cutting, etc. Wish us luck!

The simplest pattern I've used with beginner quilters is the Disappearing 9 Patch (D9P)...
Tippy did a really good tutorial with pictures...http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-40144-1.htm
