Hi Sharon, and welcome to the Quilting Board. I'm from Nevada. Don't worry about being a Newbie; we were all Newbie's at one time! And quilting is so great, so much fun, so creative, it just hooks you. Yes, you have to get through a bit of frustration of learning new skills. That passes. When it all starts to come together, it's just awesome!
And you've come to the right place. There is not a more understanding, supportive, or knowledgable group of quilters anywhere who are so eager to help and share what they know. Just remember, on this Board, there is no such thing as a dumb question. The only dumb questions are the ones that aren't asked.
