Welcome from another NYer. I notice anyone north of Westchester county says they're from upstate. LOL so that leaves a whole lotta NY. I am from near Albany. I have an Innova LA and I love it. If you use the search function at the top of the page in the menu bar (the blank box with the magnifying glass next to it) type in Longarm you will get loads of threads discussing LA quilting.
