Welcome from Camarillo, California. I am just a couple hours down the 101 from you. I have been to your little quilt shop there several times. Have you ever participated in the Central Coast Quilt Run? There are lots of great shops on that run!!!

Welcome from California! We have just moved to Pine Grove from Tulare which isn't too far from you. And, we also have Black Labs too. This is a great message board-----lots of nice (and talented) people....

I have never participated in the Quilt Run. I'm going to have to check that out. I have been to many quilt shows and I like our little quilt shop "The Quilt Attic".

My favorite place of all is "The Cotton Ball" in Morro Bay. They have a website www.thecottonball.com Absolutely wonderful people. I'm pretty much a beginner even though I have made many quilts. But after seeing all these I've changed my mind. I'm back to being a beginner.

Thanks for the warm welcome.

I like your "Quilt Attic" also, have bought lots from there. I actually liked Cotton Ball's selection of quilting fabrics before they moved to the location they are in now. One of my favorites is Sew Fun in Atascadero, have spent a pretty penny in that store. And Creation Station in Buelton is a fun store to go to next time you travel south. The quilt run is always the first weekend in June, it is a fun experience especially of you do it with friends. We usually have 4-8 of us going, except last year, my daughter got married that weekend!!! Maybe we will get to meet someday!!!
