My husband and I are in Navarre for Christmas for the last 4 years. Son and Daughter-in-Law live there. I will have to look those shops up.

Welcome from Northeast Fl. Some great shops in this area are: Cinnamons' Quilt Shop, LadyBug quilt shop, Joanns, and Calico Station.

Hi, well I went to the new quilt shop to me. They never closed it's Sandy's in Punta Gorda and of course I came home with more fabric and a couple of patterns. One is for a quilt with blocks and a cat in each one, the other is a for a candle mat for the fall with some pumpkins and squash and leaves. I also picked up a FQ which is black with a flower and the flowers have gold on them. I need more fabric like a hole in the head and now there may be a tropical storm coming this weekend so I have to watch the news closely because I'm not leaving my fabric behind if we have to run & hide. We really need the rain the wind not so much. We also have a quilt show called Quilt n' More in North Port/P.C. border. We have a new store opening tomorrow called Tuesday Morning and they are supposed to have fabric and Fon's & Porter rulers & such. I'm going to try to go tomorrow can't wait to see. Sue

Welcome from another newbie from South Florida. There are many quilters on the board who live in various parts of the state. I know of several quilt shops within 25 minutes from where I am, but most of the WalMarts are now restocking and having a fabric department. JoAnn Fabrics carries a pretty big selection, and I know that Hobby Lobbhy is in the Jensen Beach area.
