Greetings from Madison High School, Ohio

Hi, there was a tut on here in last day or two (you can use the search engine at top) for amish quilts. There are pics of over 1,000 quilts on this site. They will blow your mind. I have also seen other teachers in geometry use quilts to teach geometry.

Hi from another northeast Ohioan. I'm the Home Ec Club advisor at Maplewood High school about an hour or so south of you, if you're in the Madison that's near Lake Erie.
I'm not aware of any other Home Ec Clubs at any other schools around here. I'd love to share ideas with you.

Greetings from Sacramento area in CA. Oh boy, we have many posts here about the need for math or the use of math in our quilting. Whod'a thunk it way back when...
Have you checked the picture gallery? There are tons of pics by pattern:

Welcome - my sister used to live in Madison and her kids went to Madison High School :) The Longo family :) Don't know how long you have been there, her youngest would have graduated in 04 or 05 :)
You'll see lots of quilts in the Picture Forum here! And yes, I wish I had paid more attention to geometry!
