Welcome from Northern Utah. Please post some pictures of your quilts. What is your favorite fabric to work with? There are many wonderful activities available here. I would love to invite you to join in. Two of the most popular and Doll Quilt Swaps and
One Block/One Month.
Doll quilts are between 12" x 12" all the way to 24"x24". These small quilts are fun to make and fun to receive. They provide opportunities to try new skills or patterns. They can be simple or quite complex. These small quilts are easy and less expensive to make and mail. Remember to make a label for the back and take a picture before you send it. That way you have the picture as a memory.
Another favorite swap is one block/one month. In this swap, we each choose a color combination or particular pattern of a quilt we want to make. For example; I want to make a quilt using lavender and yellow blocks. This is what I put on my profile for the swap, along with mailing information. One of the fun parts of this swap is that we can arrange to make and get extra blocks. When I have enough blocks for my quilt, I simply change my profile to include the next quilt I want to collect for.
If you would like to do one of these swaps with me, let me know. I love doing them.
Again, welcome to the most wonderful group of people anywhere. Join in and have a good time. Gwyn
