Greetings from north FL
Hello all. I'm new to the group. I've enjoyed sewing minor projects most of my life on a 1980's Kenmore. I made a civil war era outfit for myself and one for a friend (purchased the hoop skirt), for a local Founder's Day event. I joined a local quilt guild and made my first full size quilt and a table topper in 2016. I've been accumulating fabric so as to have plenty on hand when time becomes available (I work full time and also part time on weekends).
I also have a 1930's White Rotary sewing machine and recently purchased a Wheeler and Wilson #9 treadle machine (not a D9), and am getting her fixed up.
Regards Teresa

I have no old machines except my mom's Singer treadle purchased in 1949. However, you will learn many things about old machines and quilting, as well, from the expert quilters on this site. And welcome from the beautiful mountains of western NC.
