Thanks everyone for the warm welcome, even if quilting is a by product of my craft (dolls) I still hope to learn lots.
Also have 2 boxes full of fabric to make 2 quilts, one 'witchy' themed for me and one 'holly hobbie' themed fabrics for my little girl (still a baby!). By the time she old enough to appreciate a quilt I hope to have learned enough to actually make her one, and not be scared to put the scizors in the fabrics!
I'm based in VIC for the Aussies asking, and already heard someone actually lives about 50 min drive from where I am based!
