Hi! Hello from Sachse, Texas (near Firewheel Mall). If you get out this way there is a great fabric store on Ballard Street in Wylie (off of Highway 78). Very helpful as well.

Hurst? We're like neighbors. Thanks for the welcome. Went to the library today and studied quilt pattern books for a few hours. Found books that made me want to sew up every piece of fabric within reach.

Went to the library today and studied quilt pattern books for a few hours. Found books that made me want to sew up every piece of fabric within reach. Have only been a Texan like eleven years. Ashamed to say I've never been to Houston. This is totally going to be my year to explore Texas.

Hey California: Sure hope you guys have decent weather. We're freezing with bright sunny skies lately. Great days to stay home and quilt, ponder, daydream, plan, cut, snip -- yoou know the routine -- great way to spend my retirement.
