Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Bobbie and I live in central (waist deep in snow banks!)North Dakota. My husband and I own a body shop and wrecker service...that is my day job! I also long arm quilt as a business out of my home. Currently I am looking into becoming a sales rep for HandiQuilter. I have been quilting for hire for around six years and love every minute of it....except for the rippin part! A friend and I give long arm quilting lessons and I often help younger persons get started in quilting. Our son-now 12- has won many awards with his quilted pieces at various shows and fairs. We have three boys---that is where the "Three Boys Quilting" comes in. As you can probably tell, I stay plenty busy...never a dull moment around here...and I never get "bored" I hope to learn from all of you and hope to be able to offer advice if someone needs it. I feel we all learn from eachother. My favorite thing about long arm quilting is seeing the looks on my customers faces when they see their quilts after they are quilted. My least favorite thing is not having more time to actually quilt. I look forward to "visiting" with you all. Hope your holidays are great!
