Hello from France
Hi, I'm Sally and I am English but living on the north coast of France. I have been doing patchwork for about two years now. I started as I love sewing and embroidery and it was good for me to go to a group where I had to speak French all the time! my husband is English so we speak English at home which means I need to find places to practice French.
I am now completely hooked and spend every free moment cutting stitching and quilting.
I quilt by hand but I piece both by hand and by machine, I enjoy both. I want to start machine quilting but have not yet been brave enough to try - it's on the list of things to do!!!!
I really enjoy reading the forum and have learnt a lot of tips - thanks everyone.

Bonjour Sally and welcome from Quebec City, Canada. I just started Free Machine Quilting a few months ago as my right hand will not allow me to hand quilt anymore. It's not perfect but from a distance it's looking ok. You can do it and I am sure you will enjoy it also. Do not hesitate to show us pictures of some of your works. You know by now that we all enjoy looking at what other members made.

Welcome from Oklahoma, by way of Massachusetts. This is the place to be if you have questions, or if you know the answers. Be advised that we LOVE to see pictures so don’t be afraid to show us your work.
