Hello, I am no longer a lurker

I have been reading this site for years, but never took the time to join. I wanted to add that I had an experience with a quilt club, too.
I did not feel like the people were friendly there either. I went to 4 meetings. On that day we were doing a project. When it got late (into lunch time) some of the members got out their lunches and others just walked out to go eat. No one said anything before or during that lunch time. We got a newsletter, but nothing was mentioned about lunch. It really hurt my feelings and I never went back. I just realized that I have been missing a lot of fun with yall.
Thank you, ... LindaLu from Pearl River, LA

Welcome from TN.
So glad you have joined us and become part of all the fun!
We will tell you about lunch - although it's usually about breakfast! Never feel left out!
Here's today's breakfast.

Hello and welcome from Ontario. I have never joined a guild beacause of the very thing you experienced. I don't want to show up just to be the "odd man" out. I am not fond of organizations that tend to be "clichy". It is not like that here, have fun.
