Hello from Idaho-originally from West Virginia
I joined this site to possibly get some help locating a manual to a Belvedere sewing machine that was just given to me. Model # is 190 and the serial number stamped on it is J-A3 2064. It came with a nice cabinet and needs some cleaning and a good oiling, for it has sat for quite a long time in a cabin here in the mountains.
So if anyone knows or maybe give me info on how to achieve this, I would be very thankful.
Glad to join this site with all you good people. Take care!

Welcome. It looks like your machine was probably made by Riccar. I did not find a manual for a Belvedere 190. There are other machines with different names that may be like your machine. A good thread about Japanese zig zag machines at Vintage Japanese 'Badged' Zig Zag and Straight Sew Sewing Machines
There is a section here about Vintage machines - https://www.quiltingboard.com/vintag...thusiasts-f22/
You might want to look through the manuals at http://www.sewusa.com/Sewing_Machine...g_Machines.htm to see if there is one similar to your machine.
We like pictures. In order to post pictures on Quilting Board, you will probably need to reduce or compress the picture to a file size that is smaller than 2MB. How to post images can be found at https://www.quiltingboard.com/attach...020-01-17-.pdf
Don't forget to scroll over to the far right to find and click on the "Upload" button.
I have found that only the big red "Reply" button or "Quote" work to give me the paper clip icon to work for adding pictures.

Some additional info regarding reducing images at post #4 and images for the scroll and upload button can be found at #5 of quilt block ID?
