Welcome to the quilting board. I also live in Idaho. My grandmother was the quilter in our family and as far as I know, I am the only quilter beside her. She is long gone now but I can remember her working on quilts. She did not have a sewing machine, so did everything by hand. She really had nimble fingers and can remember her giving me and my mom the hexagon cardboard pattern for us to help cut out Grandmothers flower garden. She also repaired and recycled quilts. Loved seeing an old blouse or dress I worn out in her quilts.
