Stitchhappy, I did make that double wedding ring. It was a one piece arch, which was much easier that the pieced arch. With a real pretty fabric they are really nice. Mine wasn't outstanding, but it worked. I used a plastic template set to cut all my pieces.
Barb, the DWR behind you on the avatar is beautiful. Did you make it? I'm working on one right now and I don't think I'll ever do another one. Using John Flynn's instructions and I an NOT an engineer; you can tell HE is.
