Welcome back to the board from Texas. Sounds like you've been busy with your sewing & crafting. I just saw your Woodlands Star table runner that you posted & it's a real beauty.

Hi Sally! Thank you for the warm welcome. My family and I live in the southern most part of the central Bahamas. Long Island is approximately 165 miles southeast of Nassau. If you look on a map of the Bahamas, we are east of the Exumas, south of Cat Island, west of Rum Cay and San Salvador island. The only islands that were affected by Hurricane Dorian were the Abacos and Grand Bahama. Even though my family and I were all okay, I did have a couple of friends that lived in the Marsh Harbor Abaco area. My friends and their families are all okay after the storm, but they're homes and businesses took a lot of damage.
    Happy Quilting.Hugs Katie

Thank you for your warm welcome. Indeed a lot my quilting designs are inspired by my surroundings such as the flowers, ocean, and my fur babies.

I've been to your beautiful island on two occasions. Some of the best fishing my husband and I have ever done and for me, the very best fishing guide ever. Lovely island, lovely people.
Can't wait to see some of your quilts. We love pictures, here.
Thank you for such the warm welcome. I'm glad that you enjoyed your stay on the island. Sounds like you and your husband had a wonderful time. I did post some of the pictures of the quilts that I have done this year in my own album. Happy Quilting.Hugs Katie https://www.quiltingboard.com/member...bums20236.html
