Hi from another Michigander...Elk Rapids (just N of Traverse City) but we also spend winters in Estero, FL. Sounds like the best of both worlds, huh?

Hi Pansypenny, We go to Elk Rapids every fall to a Gwen Marston retreat at the White Birch Lodge. Come over and introduce yourself. We will be there week 4 which is Sept 29-Oct 2. Just ask where the
"House girls" are.

Wooohoo, I'm 'from' Michigan too, although we now live in WV. I grew up in Hillsdale County (Pittsford though, not Hudson). We showed our cows in 4-H at the Hudson fair almost every year.

Oh, I got sidetracked - welcome to the forum from a newbie in WV. :D
