Hi, welcome from Blaine. I think it'd be great if we Minnesotans could get together.

Hi Kim! I'm new here too and haven't even introduced myself yet....I'm in Tennessee now, but from Michigan originally.
Everyone here seems so nice - and so so so smart, creative, busy, wonderful....need I go on? lol
Heather, I think the reason there are so many quilters from Minnesota might be cause in Minnesota you need so many quilts?

What type of get-together would people like?
Would maybe a bus-tour be fun?! Organize a tour of the best LQS's in the twin cities... and go visit them! (obviously let them know we'd be coming... teehee! Can you imagine faces otherwise?!) ...maybe a potluck lunch... all we'd have to pay for is the chartered bus... maybe stay at a hotel and get up and sew or do a group activity the next day... I don't know. I'm just throwing ideas out there.
I'd be happy to help organize something, but I'm probably the least-experienced quilter on this board...

I'm all for it! It sounds like most of us are around the Cities... I'll help in whatever way I'm capable!
Hi, I'm in St. Cloud ! Are you MN folks going to the MN Quilter's Show in St. Cloud on June 17 - 19? That might be a place where we could meet. I'll be there on Saturday.

My plan right now is to go to St. Cloud. Maybe some of us could carpool from the "burbs". Let's keep in touch until then. I wish we had some type of listing of email addresses and city so we'd know who's near us. I would put one together if anyone wants to PM me with the info. Or what do you think??? Would that be helpful to anyone else?

Hi, Kim! I just started quilting myself. Worked in the business world for many years and had NO time or energy after work to even think about sewing. Now I can't imagine how I ever servived without it. I get so much enjoyment, peace and calm out of it. Mugs from Prior Lake, MN
