    Talking Hello from a newbie.

I am new to the joy of quilting but love it already. My name is Marie (Grammy to grandkids). I am attempting to make each of my 14 grandchildren a quilt. One down and 13 to go. Any advice, tips or patterns would be a great help. Thank you.

Hi punkin59 and welcome aboard, from Québec city
you have a very good project on your hands.... 13 other quilts to do. This is a fabulous motivation to keep going. which pattern did you do for your first one? Do you think you can post a picture of it for us to see! it could help members to give you some good advice for the next 13 quilts
do you know about some internet site like:
    http://www.quilterscache.com/QuiltBlocksGalore.html
and the picture page here on this site

they are great inspiration, if that can help you!
    enjoy your new hobby!

Hi Punkin and welcome from Kentucky! I made my youngest grandson a 9 patch quilt. He wanted it with race cars on it and I made the border in the black and white flag print. He loved it.
