Hi, Passionate Quilter. Just how "Northeast TN" are you? I am from Knoxville, owned a house in Chuckey, just out of Greeneville, workamped in Blountville a couple of years ago, and came down here this time from Baileyton...and may return there in the spring! I am always interested in what is being quilted in TN...and you are close to Jonesborough, with its wonderful quilt shops!

Quilted Peace...in SE GA right now

Thank you for your note. I live in Johnson City, originally from Mi. We retired here and had a home on a mountain in Unicoi with 11 other friends my husband worked with. Life on the mtn. got too hard for us so bought a condo and moved into town. I am recently widowed after 56 years of a wonderful marriage and am looking to persue some of the things I have not done in ages. Quilting is a passion with me although I have not done as much as most of you. From your note, I see you had lived in this area also so you're familiar with it. Hope to be able to meet up with you someday, either in person or always on the Quilting Board. Lois

Hello, thank you for your note. I am a second generation lady of German ancestry, totally German on both sides of the family. Have traveled twice to Germany on genealogy search's, it is a beautiful country and I loved the thought that my ancestors had walked the very streets that I was walking. It looks like you are a professional quality quilter, someday I hope to be also. Blessings to you from the USA.
